This 14-piece Afrofunk orchestra builds on the big-band funk popularized by Fela Kuti and incorporates elements of Yoruba tribal music, West African pop, Ghanaian funk and Senegalese rumba. Children are mesmerized by the sheer energy, dynamic beats, and call and response format of this powerhouse performance.
